Stuttering, also referred to as stammering, is a speech problem that is quite common in children and can continue into adulthood. It is estimated that around one in 20 children will struggle with stuttering at some point. Around four in five of those affected will grow out of it and it’s estimated that one in 100 adults will continue to stutter.

Fear of water is one of the more natural fears.

However, when this fear gets out of control, overwhelming anxiety around water can make some vacations or sports very difficult.

People often ask what causes a fear of water, but there is no single answer. Human beings can develop fears of anything.

Re-educate your unconscious mind to relax around water. Any fear response can be ‘unlearned’. Hypnosis can teach your mind to be comfortable around and in water.

Being afraid of water is fairly understandable, especially if you aren’t a strong swimmer. However, for a surprisingly large number of people, it goes way beyond being a little afraid.  Someone suffering from a fear of water may not even be able to get into a bath.

Maybe you even watched a scary documentary about shark attacks, and now you have a fear of deep water.

Whatever the cause, the fear that you’re experiencing today is coming directly from your subconscious mind – the part of your mind that is responsible for most of your thoughts and actions. Memories stored in your subconscious mind – both major and minor – are driving your current behavior.
